Prof. Dr. Tariq Sinan, consultant minimally invasive spine specialist in Kuwait has recently made a breakthrough in treating an old patient with 2 fractures in the lumbar vertebrae due to RTA. One was shattered with the broken wall. The patient was not fit for regular surgery (80 years old), he was suffering in an orthopedic hospital. His family came to Prof. Dr. Tariq who transferred the patient to the hospital and on the same day, he performed a revolutionary technique to treat the shattered fracture using CHANGMEI's Kyphoplasty System (Including balloon, tool kit, and Inflator).

He injected a little cement in the center of the fractured vertebra and used the balloon to make a shell of cement and waited till it is hard to seal the fractured whole (eggshell technique), then he injected cement which held the fracture together and no leak. The second fracture was also treated the same as the first one. The whole procedure finished in 30 minutes under local anesthesia. No stitches and the patient left the hospital in 12 hours walking pain-free.
